New Business Officer/ Recruitment Consultants

A dynamic New Business or Recruitment Consultant is required for a fairly new and small unique Consultancy based in South Wimbledon.
The Consultancy specialises in Accountancy and Finance Staff; Education - Teachers, Trainers etc and Administrative staff. There are other various sectors including Banking, IT, Technical and General staff.
The Agency is unique in that it also provides Training to companies and individuals at all levels; Tutoring for students and Accountancy services.
The consultancy is at a level of growth and therefore seeking Consultants to market all these services and most of all obtain new business for further growth. Incentives are given for new businesses realised.
The post holder must be enthusiastic and passionate and have a proven track record of successful achievements in similar organisations.
Blessed provides recruitment and training solutions to the business community in UK and we always require Recruitment Consultants who are willing to work on commission basis, passionate and dynamic enough to get involved in a range of exciting and challenging duties including:
- Marketing and New Business Development and building a portfolio of clients
Job Purpose:
To assist the lead officer in realising the company's growth aspirations as set out in the corporate plan. In particular to seek new opportunities to expand the Recruitment, Training, Tutoring and Accountancy Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Implementing strategies for identifying new business opportunities by acquiring contracts from various sectors of the community
2. Contact and develop close links with clients and prospective clients
3. Liase and negotiate new business leads with agencies, trusts, local authorities etc. to gain new business.
4. Assist in the preparation of expressions of interest and tenders in relation to new business opportunities.
6. To market the skills of professionals who register to companies and suitable organisations.
7. To be able to attend job fairs, exhibitions, networking events to promote the services of the company
8. Deputise for the Manager on absence.
9. Provide expert and professional advice to all the Company's clients
10. Undertake other analogous duties in conjunction with the Managing Director.
Person Specification
Mandatory
Experience and knowledge (relevant work and other experience)
a) Sound knowledge of Recruitment and Training at least two years
b) GCSEs or NVQ Qualified
c) Qualification and experience in Marketing and HR
d) Experience in research, sales and promotions
e) Minimum of 3 years experience in a new development/business position
Skills and abilities
f) Able to work on own initiative without daily supervision
g) Able to liase effectively at all levels internally and externally
h) Able to produce concise, accurate reports to tight deadlines
i) Use of Information Technology
- Excel
- Word
- Access database
- To navigate on the internet to access and update website
j) Ability to prioritise and plan your own workload and meet tight deadlines to ensure corporate goals are achieved.
Other
k) Ability to work occasional unsocial hours
l) You must be willing to travel to visit clients and must possess excellent administrative and interpersonal skills
An initial contract for three months will be offered to become permanent on successful completion.
