Aim: To introduce non finance professionals to basic financial concepts and How they are applied in financial management

  • Define essential financial concepts and explain how they relate to your role within the organisation
  • Define the term budget and the three most common budgetary techniques
  • List the advantages and disadvantages of those techniques in estimating income and expenditure
